Budget Worksheets - Learn How to Effectively Track Your Weekly and Monthly Spending

When you start working with making a household budget it is extremely important to track your spending and all your expense both on a weekly and monthly basis. Many people dread tracking their expenses and recording every receipt but this is by far the best way to gain control over your spending. There is always a huge gap between what people think they spend and what they actually spend each month. So, tracking your spending is the only way to establish a working budget.

weekly planner 2011 2012

In order to track you spending you will need the following two budget worksheets:

WEEKLY

#1 Weekly Expenses Report Worksheet - On this worksheet you will record all the spending for a given week. You will want to have four copies of this worksheet for a given month. Carry it with you to record expenses or make a habit of recording expenses at the end of the day with your daily receipts. Make sure to include a description of the item, the date purchased, the amount and the expense category. You will also want to write down how you paid for the item whether by cash, check, or credit card. This will give you a very detailed report of your weekly spending.

#2 Monthly Expense Record Worksheet - After you have filled out your weekly worksheet for a given week, you will want to transfer all spending and expenses over to the monthly expense record worksheet. It is very helpful to first fill out the weekly expenses report worksheet because people forget to record certain spending when just using the monthly expense record worksheet along.

After filling out these two worksheets you will have effectively tracked your spending for the month. Using the monthly expense record worksheet, you will now have the information you need to create a working budget for next month.

NFL Weekly Picks Favorites Take a Punch in Week One

The first football Sunday is in the books and if your NFL weekly picks didn't quite go as planned, you have a lot of company. And if you think you're feeling out of sorts, imagine how the Colts and 49ers must feel.

weekly pill organizer

It's not uncommon for the Colts to go down to Houston and take a punch in the mouth. The difference has always been that Indy has found a way to get off the mat and go Rocky Balboa on the Texans. Not this time. The Colts defense made a Week One star out of Houston running back Arian Foster, who ran for 231 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Texans' 34-24 win.

WEEKLY

Lest ye think Peyton Manning was merely mortal on Sunday, ye would be mistaken. Ye Olde Sheriff was on point, throwing for 433 yards with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. But he could have used a little more help from his deputies. Some key drops by Pierre Garcon and a fumble by Austin Collie inside the Texans' 10-yard line helped corral a couple of Colts drives.

The loss reaffirmed suspicions that the Colts may not be able to walk over the AFC South as in years past. The Titans and Jaguars have shown an increased ability to compete and if Indianapolis' defensive failures were more flaws than flukes, the Colts could be in for a season-long dogfight.

Meanwhile, a lot of NFL weekly picks came in on the side of the San Francisco 49ers. While no one considered them a true Super Bowl contender, they certainly seemed to be the best team in a bad division - and definitely good enough to take care of the Seattle Seahawks in Week One, right?

Right?

In maybe the most disappointing single team performance on Sunday, the 49ers were dazed on defense and confused on offense during their 28-6 blowout loss to the 'Hawks. San Francisco marched deep into the red zone on three first-half possessions and tallied just two field goals and a failed fourth-down attempt.

The Niners couldn't even work together in the locker room after the game. Head coach Mike Singletary said the offensive confusion and burning of timeouts was the fault of headset communications problems. But quarterback Alex Smith said the issue was the coaches' inability to signal in plays in a timely fashion.

After one week, there's no hard evidence that the 49ers can't still win what is a definitely a weak division. But the on- and off-field performances on Sunday showed that the Boys from The Bay still have a lot of work to do.

Make Money With Weekly Room Rentals

Yes, you can make a lot of money with weekly room rentals in your home. In fact, it is what allowed me to pay off my first mortgage after only a few years. Of course, you have to think about two things before you get started. First, you have to decide if you want thousands of dollars of extra cash each year. Perhaps that's an easy one to answer.

weekly dry erase calendar

The next issue is whether or not you want to live with other people in your home. Most of the time they will be strangers, although you could try to rent out the rooms only to people you know (I mostly rented to coworkers from the casino where I was employed at the time). If you think you can tolerate the company, read on.

WEEKLY

Why weekly room rentals, rather than monthly? There are a couple good reasons to charge by the week rather than by the month. The first has to do with the people you will typically rent to and why they are renting a room rather than getting their own apartment. You see, most of the time people rent rooms because they do not manage money all that well.

It isn't just about saving money versus an apartment, although that's a motivator as well. It is often because the tenant cannot handle saving up from each check to have the rent money ready at the start of each month. If it was just the total rent that was the problem, after all, he or she could share rent with a friend or two. So by charging the way most people get paid - weekly or bi-weekly - you help solve this problem, and you make it more likely that you will be paid on time. This is also why you should include all utilities in the rent, by the way. Room renters don't like surprises. It is better to just raise the rent if you notice your electrical bill getting too high.

There is another reason why it is best to rent by the week. It has to do with the relationship between you and your tenants. Weekly rentals appear to have more in common with a hotel room than an apartment or house rental. Thus, regardless of whether or not they are treated like the one or the other according to local laws and regulations, it makes it easier to evict a renter who is a problem or who doesn't pay the rent. This is also why I never had my room renters sign any rental agreements. With weekly cash rent and no formal document, they never felt like they had a right to be in my home if I no longer wanted them there.

In many areas you can get up to 0 or more per week for a room if you include all utilities. If you have two rooms to rent - or can create them out of space in an attic or basement - you can have an extra ,000 per year coming in. Just keep it simple, find good tenants, and make them weekly room rentals for the reasons given.

Weekly Fantasy Football - Week 5 Defense Picks

Week 5 marks the first week of byes, which limits the available fantasy players this week. Baltimore, which has been the only dominant defense through 4 weeks, is off. There are not too many other defenses that you can be confident in no matter the opponent. The best advice may be stay away from whoever is playing Aaron Rodgers.

weekly calendar

Week 5

WEEKLY

1. New York Giants

The Giants have a great defensive line, and although they have given up a lot of points, they should be able to force Tarvaris Jackson into mistakes and turnovers. The Giants have 8 takeaways, and they should have a strong game against the 30th ranked Seattle offense.

2. Cincinnati

The Bengals are surprisingly leading the league in total defense giving up only 275 yards per game. Their solid defense stepped up to knock off the undefeated Bills in week 4, and should have an easier time against Blaine Gabbert and the Jaguars in week 5. Jacksonville has scored the least points in the league at only 9.8 points per game, and the Bengals should be able to shut them down.

3. Detroit

Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford are getting most of the pub for Detroit's 4-0 start, but their defense has been impressive in its own right. After starting out slow, they have only allowed 13 total points in the second half against the Vikings and Cowboys. They also had two TD's on picks against Tony Romo in week 4. Look for the Lions front to pressure Jay Cutler, who is prone to bad decisions.

4. New York Jets

It is generally not wise to pick a defense that is going to New England to face Tom Brady. However, Rex Ryan and the Jets have contained the Patriots offense better than any other team the past two years, including a brilliant performance in the playoffs last year. The Jets have been the second best fantasy defense behind the Ravens, and could frustrate Tom Brady this week.

5. Tennessee

The Titans have the best scoring defense in the league, giving up only 14 points per game, just ahead of 14.3 from the Ravens. This week they go to Pittsburgh, a team that looks much weaker than the super bowl team from last year. Mike Wallace is dangerous, but overall the Steelers have struggled to score. This one should be a defensive struggle.

Sleeper: Houston

After having one of the worst defenses in the league for the last several years, the Texans look much more physical than they ever have. They rank 4th in scoring defense giving up only 17.5 points per game. Although they are not great against the rush, if they can get ahead of Oakland early, it might force Jason Campell to attempt to bring the Raiders back.

After the first half of the week, you may sit and talk with your family members, only if there is an issue related with money. Do not bother about the selfish members of your family, as they will understand their fault in time. This week is not a very good week to impose any rule in your family.

Why a Weekly Planner Should Be Your Most Treasured Companion

Monthly calendars are an invaluable tool, no doubt. I'll bet my bottom dollar you have one in your home, just like I do. The trouble with a monthly calendar is that although it gives you a good overview of the whole month, it's not a practical tool to start planning with. There's just too many days in the month to plan for! A much better idea is to use a weekly planner or weekly calendar. A weekly planner lets you delve right into your week, day by day, hour by hour. And in this article you'll learn why a weekly planner should be your most treasured office companion.

weekly planner

The first thing you need to know about weekly planners is that you can find them everywhere online. This is good for us all. This means we can print them out and get started making business and moving towards our goals. Never searched for calendars before? Simple. All you need to do is search for 'weekly calendars' or 'weekly planners' in your favorite browser. You'll instantly have more than enough calendar options, and a bunch of these are going to suit your style.

WEEKLY

But that's not all. There's an overlooked and important element that goes hand in hand with your weekly planner. (You might have to manually add this in). Basically I think the weekly planner is rather naked without a 'to do' list to accompany it. The 'to do' list consists of your highest priority to lowest priority projects that you need to do THIS week. This means that you can plan out your whole week using the days of the week and your priority 'to do' projects list. In other words, you can be looking at both at the same time. This way your planning is doubly sure.

Another thing you will want to do is print out more than enough of these weekly calendars or planners. You then write in the days to suit you. For example if next week starts on the 20th, then from the 20th to the 26th is your week. You personalize the calendar/planner to fit your week, and your needs. Maybe even make a few copies of your blueprint, I mean, calendar. That way you can keep one with you at all times, and another one lives on your desk or next to your computer. Or wherever you do business.

I know... all this takes work. And effort. And you have to introduce new habits that might feel uncomfortable at first. But believe me, once you get into the positive habit of writing your priority list out and planning your week out, you'll never look back. Your weekly planner will become your most treasured companion I'm sure of it. Try it and see.

Weekly Fantasy Football - Week 1 Quarterback Picks

Week 1 features some interesting matchups for the top fantasy quarterbacks. Two of the top 5 QB's will be going head to head in the Thursday night kickoff game featuring the Saints and the Packers. Although I anticipate a great game, I doubt either Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees will have a huge statistical night since each team has a solid defense. At least, there are better values this week.

weekly academic planner

For Week 1:

WEEKLY

1. Michael Vick

The only knock against Vick as a fantasy quarterback is that he is prone to injury. However, if you are playing in a one week league, this is not an issue. Vick should be as healthy this week as he will be all year. Also, Andy Reid and the Eagles will pile on the score to show off their new "Dream Team." The Rams are young and getting better, but their defense will not be able to contain Vick.

2. Tom Brady

Miami looks to be a bad team that is getting worse, and Belichick and Brady would love to exploit them on Monday Night Football. Chad Ochocinco may not still have the same burst he once did, but the tight ends Gronkowski and Hernandez will be incorporated more into the Patriots offense this year. Brady will spread the ball around and could easily end up with four or five touchdowns.

3. Aaron Rodgers

Although I do not love the matchup against the Saints on Thursday, he was still the top fantasy quarterback last year and will get his numbers. Rodgers has a great group of receivers led by Greg Jennings, and adding Jermichael Finley who missed almost all of last year will be a great new option. Also the inexperience of Ryan Grant should lead to Green Bay throwing a lot of passes.

4. Phillip Rivers

The Chargers have started slowly the last several years, but it was not for a lack of production from Phillip Rivers. Minnesota has a solid defense, but they will struggle while they integrate Donovan McNabb into the offense. Rivers and Vincent Jackson looked very sharp in the preseason and it looks like the Chargers pass happy offense will really explode this season.

5. Matt Schaub

The Texans catch a huge break going by getting to play the Colts without Peyton Manning for the first time since 1997. How does this affect Schaub? If Kerry Collins is unable to sustain drives, the Texans could possess the ball for the majority of the game Sunday. I expect Arian Foster to establish a solid running game, which will open up the play action bombs downfield to Andre Johnson and over the middle to Owen Daniels.

Sleeper: Kyle Orton

Orton is a solid QB who has the ability to put up really big numbers. He started 2010 with five straight games over 295 yards. He gets less credit because he is constantly thrown into Jay Cutler or Tim Tebow drama. But he is a great value playing against the hapless Raiders, whose pass defense should be much worse with the loss of Nnamdi Asomugha.

Weekly Fantasy Football - Week 2 Running Back Picks

1. Ray Rice

weekly pill box

By piling up 149 total yards and 2 touchdowns against one of the best defenses in the NFL and the defending AFC champions in week 1, Ray Rice made a statement that he is on the short list of top running backs in the league. However, the Ravens looked to have a little more motivation last week after being knocked out of the playoffs by their rivals. I am not sure Rice can duplicate that performance, but he should put up similar numbers against a weaker Tennessee defense.

WEEKLY

2. Lesean McCoy

Michael Vick will lead his new "Dream Team" into Atlanta against his old team in what should be a shootout on Sunday Night Football. The Eagles feel pressure to show off after all their offseason moves, and Atlanta will be fighting for their lives not to go down 0-2. McCoy had 122 yards and a TD rushing last week, and could put up bigger numbers as both these teams will light up the scoreboard.

3. Darren McFadden

McFadden looked great with 150 yards mostly up the middle in Denver in week 1. The Raiders likely will return to old form and fall apart as the season moves on, but right now they looked like a contender in the AFC West. Lost in the Bills beat down of the Chiefs was that Jamaal Charles had a solid game against a soft run defense. McFadden will be able to exploit this defense as well for a big day.

4. Matt Forte

The Bears will need to put up a lot of points to keep up with the Saints this week. Forte should be able to run through New Orleans' weak rush defense, and even if Chicago falls behind, he is a great weapon out or the backfield in the passing game.

5. Ahmad Bradshaw

Bradshaw had limited carries in week 1 at Washington. After falling behind early, the Giants threw the ball most of the game. They should settle into a more balanced attack against the Rams, who had a slew of injuries in week 1. If the Giants can get ahead early, Bradshaw should receive a solid workload to shorten the game and beat down the already thin Rams defense.

Sleeper: Willis McGahee

The Broncos are a bad team, but the Bengals are even worse. With Knowshon Moreno, slightly injuring his hamstring in week 1, McGahee may become the starting tailback against a terrible defense. Even if Moreno returns, McGahee will be a weapon in the passing game and will potentially be used on goal line situations, which means fantasy points.

WEEKLY

Weekly Fantasy Football - Week 2 Quarterback Picks

1. Michael Vick

weekly pill organizer

Sunday Night Football will be a track meet as Vick returns to Atlanta with the Eagles. Philadelphia is still trying to prove they are a "Dream Team," and Vick will want to show off in his return to Atlanta. The Falcons on the other hand will be fighting to not go down 0-2, after being the number one seed last year. Both teams will put up a lot points, which will be good for fantasy teams.

WEEKLY

2. Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers was incredible in the Thursday night opener, and he should be able to put up similar numbers against a bad Carolina defense. Also, while Ryan Grant is working his way back into the offense, the Packers will continue to pass much more than run.

3. Tom Brady

Brady set all kinds of records putting up 511 yards against Miami on Monday night. He will come back to Earth against a solid San Diego defense, but he is still the best QB in the league. He will put up strong numbers, especially as the Patriots struggle to find a consistent running back.

4. Matt Schaub

Kerry Collins got a lot of the blame for the Texans drumming of the Colts, but Indianapolis was unable to stop the Texans in the first half. Schaub did not have a huge fantasy day, but his touchdowns should increase this week. The Dolphins pass defense was atrocious against the Patriots, and Schaub will exploit Miami's defense for a big day in week 2.

5. Tony Romo

Despite falling apart the final 3 possessions in New York, Romo had a really good fantasy week. The Jets have an elite defense, which Romo, Dez Bryant, and Jason Witten were able to move the ball against for three quarters. San Francisco struggled to stop one of the worst offenses in the league lead by Tarvaris Jackson. Romo will have a big day in a bounce back game for the Cowboys.

Sleeper: Matt Stafford

The Lions beat down Tampa Bay, which has a pretty good defense. Stafford to Calvin Johnson is a great matchup that will put up huge numbers if they can both stay healthy this year. This week the Lions return home against a Kansas City defense that gave up 41 points to the Bills last week. Stafford and Johnson are a greater scoring threat than anyone on the Bills, and although KC should play better, Detroit has the ability to hang 30 or 40 points on them.

Weekly Fantasy Football - Week 1 Defense Picks

The key to picking a weekly fantasy defense comes down to both teams offense. You want a good offense playing against a weak team, preferably with a young QB. The Browns, Bengals, and Panthers are great matchups each week.

weekly appointment book

Scoring defensive fantasy points is semi random, but you can increase your chance of a defensive TD if your team gets the lead, and forces the opponent to play from behind. Your odds get even better if you are matching up against a mistake prone quarterback. If David Carr is ever scheduled to play, grab that defensive matchup in the first round.

WEEKLY

For Week 1:

1. NY Giants

The giants have a solid defense with an elite defensive line, going against Rex Grossman and several position players worse than he is. I am not sure anyone predicted Grossman and Tim Hightower would be a starting backfield for the first week of 2011. As long as the G Men keep Santana Moss in front of them, this could be an eight sack shutout. Grossman is also good for at least a couple interceptions.

2. Texans

Throw this pick away if Peyton Manning shows up, but as of Tuesday, he is not expected to play. The Texans are perpetually overrated and have a pretty bad secondary, but I will take them against an offense of Kerry Collins and Pierre Garcon. If Matt Schaub and Arian Foster can get an early lead, Kerry Collins may be forced to air it out, which is great for the Texans Defense.

3. Cardinals

Not a great week to week pick. But you only get to play against a rookie quarterback making his first ever start once. The Cardinals should be able to do enough to confuse a young but promising Cam Newton. Also, if Kevin Kolb and Larry Fitzgerald put up a few TD's against a bad Carolina defense, the rookie QB could be forced into comeback mode.

4. Patriots

Weird things tend to happen on Monday Night Football, but I like my chances with a solid Patriots defense against Chad Henne and the Dolphins. The Dolphins are creative with their wildcat and other packages, but they will have to take a lot of chances to have a hope of keeping up with Tom Brady. That often leads to turnovers.

5. Steelers

I don't love the matchup with the Ravens, but they are a great D, and Polamalu is worth about five fantasy points by himself.

Sleeper: Browns

I don't like the team, but I love the matchup. The Bengals will be the worst offense in the league this year. They are starting a rookie 2nd rounder at quarterback in Andy Dalton, and quick... Name the Bengals top 3 receivers? Jerome Simpson, A.J. Green, Ryan Whalen. The Bengals will really be a great pick when they get to play the Steelers and Ravens.

Meal Planning Made Easy: Ideas And Tips To Help You Develop A Weekly Family Meals Plan

Becoming that little bit organised by executing a weekly Family Meals plan will potentially save you money, time and effort. A meal plan can offer your family a different variety of meals for the week and it will allow you to decide what you need at the shops before you go. This will mean that you can avoid those unnecessary and sometimes unhealthy impulse buys once you're there.

weekly planner

Grocery shopping turns into a piece of cake as you confidently stride down those aisles locating and ticking all the items on your shopping list. The short period of time it takes you to plan out your family meal times is really well worth it because it takes the standard "what am I going to cook tonight?" pressure off since you will have a pre-planned weekly menu at the ready as well as the ingredients you need to be able to cook everything on your plan.

WEEKLY

Ideas to set up a household meals weekly plan:

1. Once a week on a day you prefer, take a moment and write some ideas regarding possible dinner ideas that you could prepare that week

- Try and incorporate several family favorite dinners that you know the family members will love

- Pick out several new dishes to try; Do this by reading through your own personal cookbook collection (if you have one) or perhaps start looking online at cooking websites or even ask your friends and family to show you a few of their own family favorite recipes

- Try and vary the dish varieties through the course of the week i.e. incorporate a pasta recipe, a chicken dish, a red meat dish, a grain recipe etc to ensure a well balanced and wholesome meal plan

- Try and double the recipe for at least one of the recipes to enable you to enjoy one dish across 2 evenings and/or freeze the meal for another day

- Add in one freezer meal throughout the week that you can simply remove from the freezer and set straight inside the oven

- Allow yourself a night or two off from cooking where you can either leave the house for an evening meal out or simply get takeout

2. Use a Meal Planner template to write out your program for the week

Once you have chosen several different meal ideas, look through your family's weekly activity schedules and start allocating the meals for each of the evenings using the template. If you know there are a busy few days then keep the double up recipe and also the freezer dinner for those times. When you have a little more time on other days, those can be great times to experiment with your new recipes

3. Use a Shopping List template to write-up a food checklist of those things you require from the supermarket.

Depending on how often you like to visit the supermarket throughout the week (not that much I bet!), be sure to stock up on the necessary groceries for your planned recipes in advance. Many people like to do a single main shop every week as well as 1 or 2 smaller sized shops in order to stock up on perishables such as milk, bread, fruits and vegetables. Regardless of how you prefer to go shopping, always take a look at your weekly meals plan at least two days beforehand to ensure that you have on hand the ingredients that are required for the upcoming days. In the instance that you need to pick up anything from the grocery store then this provides you with more time to obtain the item compared to it being a rush at the last-minute

4. Keep the plan adaptable.

Understand that unexpected things do come up at the eleventh-hour and sometimes your weekly plan will need to change so be sure to remain flexible with it.

In summary, the minimal investment in time that it's going to take you to complete a weekly meal plan is well worth it. A plan means that you can incorporate a mix of tried and tested meals in conjunction with a number of completely new recipes. This allows you to continue to enhance your cookery repertoire not to mention keep your household content at evening meal times.

Benefits of Getting a Weekly Massage

There are many benefits to getting a massage on a regular basis. Besides just enjoying the pleasure, a wide variety of health and personal benefits exist that further support the notion of weekly massages.

weekly dry erase board

Massage services can be somewhat expensive, but certain places will offer you discounts if you come often enough. Either that, or you can sign up for a plan that saves you money, which would be a lot more affordable than buying massages each time you come in. Depending on what business you go to, and if it is independently owned, you may be able to form a relationship with the owners and further drive down the price.

WEEKLY

The primary benefit of weekly massages is the relief that is given to different parts of the body. Over the course of the week, tension builds in many places, and it can inhibit our daily activities. A massage relieves this physical stress and enables you to operate at an optimal level. This is invaluable in this fast-paced world, and you will find that the investment in massage services quickly pays off in the way you feel and the increased productivity you have.

Being productive is meaningless if we are not healthy, and there are tons of health problems out there that can bring us down at any moment. Massages stimulate portions of the body that are responsible for fighting off conditions, and having your body regularly recharged in this way is overall beneficial to your health. Most importantly, the positive feelings generated from massages reduces stress to an almost nonexistent level, and since stress is a major contributor to heart disease and cancer, this is certainly an important factor.

Getting a massage improves your focus, both after and during the massage. It enables you to think more clearly without having to worry about troubles that perpetually cross our minds. Experiencing clouded thinking can be very unpleasant and debilitating, and being free of this is quite liberating. For all these reasons and more, you should definitely consider a weekly massage, or at least one on a less frequent basis.

Weekly Fantasy Football - Week 3 Running Back Picks

1. Ray Rice

weekly dry erase board

Rice had a down game in week 2 against Tennessee, but that was still good for 96 total yards and a touchdown. Rice is becoming the most consistent fantasy back in the NFL, and he should have a big game against an injured Rams team that has struggled to stop anyone through the first two weeks.

WEEKLY

2. Adrian Peterson

The Vikings have gotten off to a slow start, but it is not fault of Peterson who has 218 rushing yards and two touchdowns in his first two games. Peterson is remarkably consistent even as the rest of the offense struggles. With McNabb not providing the passing threat the Vikings were looking for, they will lean more on Peterson to shorten the game against an explosive Lions offense. If they fall behind, he will also play a significant roll in the passing game.

3. Rashard Mendenhall

With Isaac Redman getting more carries in week 2 for the Steelers, fantasy owners are starting to worry about Mendenhall. However, he still had a decent day, including a touchdown, and if he is going to get on track, he should do it against a really bad Colts defense that was beaten down by Peyton Hillis in week 2. Expect Mendenhall to have strong day as he solidifies himself as Pittsburgh's number one running back.

4. Mike Tolbert

Tolbert is another player that underperformed under large expectations in week 2. On a positive note, he had 73 receiving yards. He and the rest of the Chargers offense will put up big fantasy numbers hosting a Chiefs team that gave up 89 points in their first two games. Kansas City's goal line defense is much more porous than New England's, which should provide Tolbert with at least one goal line touchdown.

5. LeSean McCoy

McCoy sustained a hand injury Sunday against the Falcons, but he indicated it will not hold him out against the Giants. He also rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns in Atlanta. Although the Giants are a division rival and still have an aggressive defensive line, their linebackers are nearly all out with injuries. The injuries to this unit will make it easier for McCoy to find and accelerate through rushing lanes. He will exploit this weakness for a big day.

Sleeper: Daniel Thomas

This rookie did not play in week 1, but he had a strong debut, rushing for 107 yards against the Texans. He will split time with Reggie Bush, but if Bush can't handle being a full time back, a struggle he had in New Orleans, Thomas will continue to gain more playing time.

When you are busy working all day long, either at a job or caring for your children, the last thing you want to think about at the end of the day is cleaning your house. To help you overcome this dread and find joy in a tidy home, I have compiled a cleaning schedule that includes daily and weekly tasks. I find that when you do little chores each day as you go along, it makes the bigger jobs less daunting and less time consuming once a week. Keep this list somewhere accessible to help you stay on track.

Weekly Fantasy Football - Week 3 Quarterback Picks

Passing yards are at on all time high, especially through only 2 weeks, making fantasy quarterbacks more important than they've ever been. Whether its Tom Brady going over 500 yards on Monday Night Football, or Cam Newton putting up over 400 yards in his first two games in the NFL, quarterbacks have never put up more fantasy points. Make sure you get a top quarterback if you want to compete in week 3.

weekly pill organizer

Week 3

WEEKLY

1. Tom Brady

Brady is on pace to set every passing record in the NFL after his first two weeks. It is unlikely he will keep up this pace, but the Bills gave up 35 points to the Raiders, and will have no success slowing down the Pats. Brady is the early favorite for MVP, and definitely the best fantasy QB in the league.

2. Phillip Rivers

Rivers has not been great out of the gate, but he has been solid, and should pick up the pace against KC who has given up 89 points in their first two games. Rivers and the Chargers will thrash the Chiefs, in a solid bounce back game after returning home from New England.

3. Ben Roethlisberger

Big Ben had an awful first week against an inspired Baltimore defense, but he got on track against a bad Seahawks defense, which will carry over against the Colts on Sunday Night. The Colts defense made Colt McCoy look unstoppable after he couldn't move the ball against the Bengals in week 1. Roethlisberger to Wallace will put up even bigger numbers than the Browns in a route.

4. Drew Brees

The Texans defense looks the best it has ever looked, but the Saints just put up 30 on a strong Bears defense at home in week 2. Drew Brees is unstoppable in the Superdome. It will be up to Matt Schaub and the Texans offense to make this a game because Brees will light up the scoreboard.

5. Aaron Rodgers

The Packers have a tough matchup this week at Chicago. The Bears are tough and will play inspired against their division rival. However, that is the only reason Rodgers is down to five on this list because he continues to put up big numbers every week no matter the opponent.

Sleeper: Ryan Fitzpatrick

The Bills offense has been great through two weeks against a terrible and mediocre team. New England will be a much tougher test, but the Patriots offense is not the strength of their team. Fitzpatrick should put up big numbers as the Bills try to keep up with Tom Brady and the Pats in a shootout.

Save Money By Paying Mortgage Weekly?

If paying your mortgage biweekly (every two weeks) cuts about seven years off your pay back schedule, then paying weekly should cut off 14 years, right? If you find a place where that works, let me know and I'll sign up with you!

weekly monthly planner

Though there are international variations in the way mortgages are calculated, most United States home loans have some common characteristics. Two notable ones are that interest is computed monthly (usually at 1/12th of the annual rate) and that the interest is charged "in arrears," that is, after it was used. Though these can vary among lenders, most follow this format.

WEEKLY

Therefore, your mortgage interest is the same for the month of March with 31 days as it is for February when there are only 28 days. In addition, any payment you make this month will not reduce the interest you owe next month, because of that "arrears" thing. It has already been established you will pay your interest rate times .o8 (1/12th of the rate) times your remaining loan balance.

One more basic to keep in mind: most U.S. lenders want to process your mortgage payment only once a month. Biweekly mortgage plans are usually implemented by companies external to your lender, and provided as a service to you (you pay a fee for the service) and to the bank (there are fewer mortgage defaults since the payment is automatically deducted from your bank account). It's a win-win-win. Properly implemented, you could pay back a 30-year fixed-rate loan in about 23 years, depending on loan specifics, of course. (For 0,000 at 6%, the technique eliminates nearly ,000 of mortgage interest.)

I learned about this "hold for full payment" policy the hard way on a remote rental property on which the property taxes were increased. I paid my usual payment to the mortgage company. Next thing I knew, I got a 30-day late notice. A phone call to the mortgage servicing company revealed they weren't equipped to notify borrowers of property tax increases uploaded to their computers by tax assessment offices. Their method was to wait for the next month's payment, slice the off needed to supplement the last payment, and carry me forward a month behind from then on. They-and other mortgage companies-are quite rigid about the "no partial payments" thing.

This is why for a biweekly payment plan to work, either an outside party collects your two week's worth of mortgage principal and interest and holds it for you until they collect the next two weeks' worth, then combines the two half-payments and delivers them to your bank; or your bank has a system in place, totally at their discretion, for applying your payments. Payments are usually still held and applied monthly, but a rare bank might actually apply the two-week portion when it is received.

The reason the biweekly payment plan works so effectively is that there are 26 two-week periods in a year. Fifty-two divided by two equals twenty-six. I hope by seeing how a biweekly plan actually works-which is a bit different from how most of us are used to thinking they work-the problems with a weekly payment plan become clear.

Lenders are not set up to accept payments four times a month, or 4.2 times a month (the average number of weeks in a month). You could operate your own weekly payment plan, with your year's payments due divided by 52. You would then set the money aside, not to spend it, until you have collected two (if you are also working with a biweekly service company) or four, if you are doing this completely on your own.

Either way, you are squeezing in an extra month's payment every year. And the best part about it is-if done correctly-that the 13th lump sum goes to principal only!

MMA Workout Routine Weekly Planner

Mixed martial arts (MMA) is at the pinnacle of variety for combative athletes. Incorporating Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), submission grappling, wrestling, muay thai and boxing, you might be scratching your head on how to organize your training and conditioning into a weekly MMA workout routine.

weekly planner 2011

First off, you should realize that your routine will almost never be the same week in, week out. At times, you'll be peaking before competition, at others you'll be concentrating on your technical skills. Other times you'll be recovering from injury or overtraining. In still others, you'll be trying to gain strength, lose fat or increase your work capacity.

WEEKLY

No matter what is going on, your weekly MMA workout schedule will be ever-changing. However, it doesn't have to be chaotic: I'll discuss the basics which will help you organize your workouts on a week to week basis.

First and foremost, there is no "magic MMA workout routine." There are numerous ways to put together your training, and often times your workout schedule is built around your other training goals.

One adjustment you can make is to plan your hardest and most intense workouts towards the end of the week when you might be taking a day or two to rest.

The reason? Recovery.

Think of it this way: If you do your most intense workouts at the very beginning of the week, you'll likely be sore and exhausted for the rest of the week. You might grit through the rest of the week, but more than likely, you'll be tearing your body down, making you more susceptible to injury or catching a cold from weakening your natural defenses.

Probably the best way to figure it out is by finding what already works for successful professional fighters and essentially copying what you can from them and then tweaking it to fit your own personal MMA training schedule and goals.

Take, for example, Mario Sperry's MMA workout routine:

Monday through Friday - Jiu-Jitsu training during the day. Muay Thai training in the evening.

Conditioning Training 3x per week

Tuesday and Thursday wrestling.

You'll notice that he does some form of circuit training two to three times per week and then other conditioning workouts throughout the week. Hopefully this helps you understand how you might organize your workouts as well.

10 Tips on Saving Money Weekly

Tips on saving money weekly can be done easily. There are many ways to save; buy doing some of the following item.

weekly monthly planner 2011

Staying away from the rent to own places will save you money weekly and a lot when the item is paid for. If you are in a business, the computer goes out and has to be in the shop for a week, and you just can't be without it; going to rent to own is possibly going to save your business. Let them know ahead of time it is only temporary so rent a used one not one that is new. You'd be saving money on a weekly basis because your business could lose money during that week.

WEEKLY

Saving money at what time you visit the grocery store by going weekly instead of two or three times a week. Don't go grocery shopping when you're hungry because every thing will look good and you'll end up buying things you don't need.

Recycle your plastic grocery bags by using them to line your wastebasket. Why buy used liners each week for the wastebasket when you can use grocery bags that you got free when you did the shopping.

Watch the sales when shopping. Save on a weekly basis by stocking up on items that are needed when they are on sale this will save you weekly as well as monthly.

Driving into town once or twice, a week instead of three or four times will save you money. Making a list of things that need to be done; and do more than one thing while you're in town. Go to the doctor, grocery store or pay bills all on the same day instead of making three trips you're only making one. You'll be saving money for gas, the wear on the car as well as time.

Laundry can be very expensive when making a trip to the laundry mat each week. Check out the used appliance stores in your area, buy a washer, and dry even if you have to pay .00 a month for 6 months. You'll be saving by not spending .00 to .00 a week depending on the size of your family versus .00 a month. Having your own washer and dryer can save you gasoline, time, and money when you only have enough cloth to fill half a washer or dryer.

Saving money at home on a weekly basis at what time, you are doing the laundry by doing a full load at a time instead of one or two items. You'll save here on laundry soap, fabric softener and energy doing a full load of cloths instead on a half a load.

Recycling your used fabric sheets after drying your cloths is a way to save money weekly. Put them into a baggie and use those to dust with saving you the expense of buy furniture polish every week or two. They can also be used to clean soap scum from the shower doors too.

If you have, access to a dishwasher saves by using it once a day or three times a week. Don't run the dishwasher with just a few items make sure it is full. Dishwashers use less water too versus doing dishes by hand two or three times a day. Doing one full load once a day will save you on dish soap and water:

Save money on a weekly basis by drinking water instead of pop. Don't buy your water get a water purifier to attach to the kitchen fasuet or a pitcher to run your drinking through. This will save you money not having to buy your water and is better for your health.

Weekly Fantasy Football - Week 1 Running Back Picks

The biggest advantage of weekly fantasy football leagues is you can draft players based on matchups, which is a huge advantage with running backs. Generally, you want to stay away from the Jets and Steelers defenses and take advantage of the Bills and Bengals.

weekly monthly planner

Week 1:

WEEKLY

1. Chris Johnson

There has been a small backlash against Johnson because of his contract holdout. I do not expect him to miss a beat. Matt Hasselbeck will be good enough to keep Jacksonville's defense honest, but he knows Johnson is the playmaker and will lean on him heavily. Also, with the Jags cutting ties with David Garrard and counting on Luke McCown, their offense will struggle big time, which should give Tennessee plenty of opportunities to put up points.

2. Jamaal Charles

Charles is a great back, but I believe he and the Chiefs will regress from last year. However, they will have no trouble this week with Buffalo. The Bills had the worst rush defense in the league last year, and Charles should easily put up over 100 yards and a couple TD's this week.

3. Adrian Peterson

Similar to Tennessee, the Vikings brought in a new, veteran quarterback who will do a lot of handing off to Peterson while he gets acclimated with the offense. I also expect Peterson to get more receiving yards since McNabb will check down to him more often as he gets comfortable with his new receiving corps.

4. Arian Foster

There is still some concern about Foster's hamstring, but I expect him to start and get a normal workload this week. He will break down the Colts/ poor run defense. Peyton Manning's injury will also really hurt the Colts' defense. If Kerry Collins is unproductive, Foster could be pounding a worn down Colts' D that cannot get off the field.

5. Frank Gore

Gore is a force, and with the 49ers sticking with Alex Smith, Gore should get plenty of work this week. Gore has a tendency to get injured, but the first few weeks, while he is healthy and fresh, he will rack up big fantasy points.

Sleeper: LeGarrette Blount

The Lions seem to be a hot sleeper pick, but I am not buying the hype just yet. Suh is a beast, but he is better at getting after the quarterback than at stuffing the running game. Blount has gone from a free agent pickup no one wanted to the starter in a strong young offense. Blount doesn't have the speed to bust huge runs like Chris Johnson, but he is a powerful short yardage rusher that will convert from the 1 yard line. He has also improved in the passing game, which adds to his value.
